Good Evening All,
Well it’s has been a crazy few weeks and now long awaited I have a rather large number of things I can update you with.
First of all, I come with unfortunate news that Michael Absalom is no longer able to join us on the Eastbourne ride due to prior work commitments, I’m sure you will all join me in wishing him the best. He has told me personally that he wishes the team all the best in the training and ride and may possibly feature in a future ride.
I welcome Richard Oswald a family member to our very own Paul Holmes. Welcome aboard Richard.
Last week I posted a Tweet and Facebook status email asking for a kind heart to help us design a logo. Thomas Heap of Design Heap (School friend from many years ago) was on email within moments due the a family connection in the premature world offering his help. Thom was immediately at work and within 7 days has created the ultimate logo which has now gone live – A massive thanks to you Thomas
The cycle kits have now arrived and look super hot, I say that but I don’t think I actually realised how tight Lycra was. I will be distributing the kits out a bit nearer the time only to ensure they are all in good unused condition for the actual ride.
The quiz night is still going ahead in the first week of April ’11 before the school holidays begin, I will be confirming a date very soon. We are also still looking for prizes for the raffle on the night so if there is any businesses you know that would be able to donate please let me know as we can also offer them some free publicity via the website and the various social networking that we are involved with.
Finally the fund raising meter stands at £2,116.99 let’s keep asking everyone we know the target is still looking a fair distance away but we can do it, email all Facebook friends, work colleagues and even the owner of your local corner shop, every donation will help us reach our goal.
Go team
Cheers
Warwick
